Challenge

Objective: To create a Father's Day campaign to honour fathers while promoting Kotak Business Banking Solutions, as well as to connect with the audience by celebrating the remarkable role fathers play in their children's lives. To raise awareness about Kotak Business Banking Solutions and its distinctive offerings. To collaborate with a father-son duo to whom the audience can relate Challenge: Our challenge was to establish a genuine connection with the audience and leave a lasting impact on them.


Objective

We collaborated with a remarkable father-son duo from Bollywood, Ranveer Singh, and his father, Mr. Jugjeet Singh, who is often less known to the audience. Considering his reserved nature and unfamiliarity with facing the camera, it was important to plan Mr. Jugjeet Singh's first-time online presence with sensitivity. This campaign by Kotak served as the perfect medium for Mr. Jugjeet Singh to display the off-screen rapport with his son, Bollywood Megastar Ranveer Singh on the occasion of a topical - Father's Day, while effectively integrating its product in the mix - Kotak Business Banking Solutions.


Strategy

To capture genuine emotions of the father-son duo effectively, we departed from the traditional scripting method. Instead, we conducted a heartfelt face-to-face conversation where Ranveer interviewed his father, extracting authentic and heartwarming responses. Mr. Jugjeet Singh's participation and candidness made the video even more special and relatable. Through this unique approach, we aimed to introduce the world to the incredible bond between Ranveer Singh and his father, shedding light on the unsung hero who played a pivotal role in Ranveer's life. The authenticity and involvement of both father and son made the video a truly memorable experience. Our topical video brought to life the bond between Ranveer and his father by, capturing the spoken words, unspoken gestures, and authenticity of body language to make the audience feel like they were a part of the very conversation happening between Mr. Jugjeet Singh and Ranveer Singh.
